Farm & Fire celebrates the memorable making, firing and using of wood-fired ceramic objects.
On this site, we hope to share with you the beauty and quality that results from the unpredictability of the elements – fire and earth – in the wood-firing process. When the Kegonsa Anagama is lit, we think of it as both the beginning of an objects’ story and the continuation of a process rooted in artistic and functional traditions that extend back thousands of years.
Like our passion for wood-firing, we also revere the daily art of pairing homemade food with handmade wares and hope you are inspired by a recipe or two here as well.
Here’s to food and art – from the group up! Cheers!
